Client Requirements
Reginson Engineering, who specialise in sub contract precision engineering, CNC machining, milling and turning, required improvements to the appearance of their 1,560m2 High Tech facility in Nuneaton. They asked Zenith to provide a specification which would provide a hard wearing and aesthetically pleasing solution.
Overview of Works
Zenith recommended using polyurethane screed to the gangways at 6mm thickness, which would more than cope with the intense traffic the floor will receive and comes in a variety of colours. The machine shop areas were specified with a high build epoxy resin broadcast system incorporating a quartz aggregate to provide slip resistance whilst retaining ease of cleaning. The works were carried out over six weekend periods to reduce disruption to the client’s production. A colour scheme of Blue (gangways) light grey (machine shop) and red (inspection areas and goods in) was introduced.
