Midland Group Training Services (MGTS) specialises in training apprentices within the field of engineering from its premises in Redditch and Coventry. Committed to the highest standards of professionalism and service, it aims to provide its customers with access to learning opportunities, competent staff, comprehensive equipment and technology, and rapid response.

Zenith has an on-going contract to clean four days a week at MGTS, which operates in school term times. During the school holiday period, Zenith has access to areas that would normally be in use, giving them the opportunity to carry out a full clean.

Overview of Works

This is a particularly arduous process, requiring the use of approximately fifty mop heads over the cleaning period. Zenith’s operatives first degrease the area, wetting and mopping, using a chemical diluted in hot water. They next employ a scrubbing machine to lift the dirt before re-mopping and leaving the floor to dry.

As a result, the flooring undergoes a full clean, ensuring it is in top condition for the beginning of term, in keeping with MGTS’s status as a National Centre of Excellence for Education, Training, Development and Assessment.
