Zenith Refitment Transforms Major Automotive Manufacturer’s Workshops

Zenith Refitment Services were contracted to transform one of Britain’s leading car manufacturers design and engineering facility located in Coventry, to prepare and paint the workshop areas.

The project commenced in August 2014 and called for Zenith to complete the job whilst working around the client’s normal production schedules.

This involved teams of painters working on a 24/7 basis, with each shift carrying out extensive preparation to ensure that vehicles, equipment and floor areas were totally protected, and each location cleared and cleaned ready for workers to commence work without delay or interruption.

Carrying out this job successfully called for clear project management and planning, with Zenith working closely with the facilities team to ensure their exacting standards were met. Despite many obstacles to overcome, Zenith completed the project to great satisfaction of the senior management and production teams.

As a result, the workshops have been transformed into a bright and vibrant working environment.

The project demonstrates Zenith’s capability to successfully manage complex large scale commercial projects, utilising scaffolding, powered access plant, airless spray painting, specialist coatings, factory line painting and signage.
